Although certain attempts have been made at national level to digitalize the land and asset title deed registry records, generally, one must physically visit the Land Registry and Cadastre Office to obtain information.  Asset Tracing in Turkey is a very complex and demanding task. Even though the records are present appropriately, their methods of storage (filing) may be problematical. Consequently, performing a simple name search may not be possible to identify the owner of any land or asset. In order to obtain information about asset ownership, Esfor Trade determines the possible locations of the assets, visits the addresses and conducts interviews with local people and real estate brokers. Esfor Trade also utilizes other sources to collect information such as the current or future estimated value of the asset.
